Themes

Three themes, twenty-one knob styles.

EON, Dark and Light are built into the plugins: pick one on any of the seven and all seven follow, and a project opens on the theme it was saved with. The same session on Dark and on Light:

A 37-track session on the Dark theme: ReaKit FX in its mixer strips, each track wearing its icon
The same session on the Light theme, out to the master

Or NATIVE: each one in its own original colours, all seven at once.

The session with every plugin on NATIVE, in its own colours

Open the THEME menu's list and turn the wheel: each notch is the next theme, live.

The 3-Band EQ's theme list stepped by the mouse wheel: EON, Dark, Light

EON, one notch to Dark, one more to Light: the whole window follows each notch, and so do the other six.

The knob-style list stepped by the mouse wheel: SSL, API, Neve

The knob list works the same way: SSL, two notches down to API, two more to Neve. Twenty-one styles.

Twenty-one knob styles, all on the KNOB row of the THEME menu:

Saturation's DRIVE knob drawn in twenty different styles

Saturation's DRIVE knob in each style (Default and SSL look the same here). Pick one on any of the seven and all seven change.

The THEME menu

One menu, every setting.

  1. Click THEME at the top of any of the seven windows. The menu opens over the plugin. On six of them it is one short list.
  2. GainKit's has three pages. LOOK is how it looks: the theme, the knob style, the meter's face and colour, one meter or two. STRIP is how it sits in your mixer: where it shows, what the strip shows, the name and its font, VU DRAG and the STEREO / MONO key. METER is how the meter reads: where 0 VU sits, how fast the needle moves, what marks the last high, and when the PEAK light comes on.
  3. In GainKit's, point at any row and the line at the bottom of the menu tells you what it does.
  4. Click a row to change it. THEME and KNOB open a list: scroll the mouse wheel over it to try each one live.
  5. A theme or a knob style picked on one plugin changes all seven. GainKit's LOCK keeps that one GainKit's look when the rest change.

The LOOK page pointing at METERS, and the STRIP page pointing at VU DRAG. The line at the bottom explains the row under the pointer.
